Having many intimate waxes in the past and some not the best experiences, I was slightly over thinking my appointment here today but I shouldn’t have, Sarah made me feel warm and welcome straight away and talked through what she was doing and how it differed. Do many men get waxed? – Yes it’s so popular and for a good few years now too. It’s great to see male treatments getting more popular. 

Does male intimate waxing hurt? – There’s some discomfort of course especially during the first session as nerves are high! but its never as bad as you’ll think it’ll be 99% of my clients all say this! I use my own premium hot wax designed for the best results (it’s so gentle on the skin) teamed with my years of experience discomfort is greatly reduced. 

How long does the hair need to be for a wax? – Around 1/2cm (the size of a grain of rice) or 3-4 weeks of growth. Don’t worry about the hair been to long as it never usually is.. if it is I can trim. just come as you are… just with growth no stubble as it wouldn’t be a good wax for you. 

I am worried about getting an erection! – Please don’t if it happens it happens! I am professional so will continue to wax and do my job and chat with you. don’t be worried! (I must point out here that this is a strictly professional service)

Can I get waxed if I am a trans woman? – Absolutely! You are very welcome here. We provide waxing services for trans women and non binary clients with male anatomy. You will be treated with respect and care. If your a lady who wants to book a wax but still has male genitalia please give us a call and we will book you for a female intimate wax or book online for a male intimate wax online and leave us a note so we can manually change for you (we will need to charge accordingly/book with our waxing specialist who can wax male genitalia) but we want to ensure your booked as a woman! 

What should I do before my appointment? – 

  • Gently exfoliate 24hrs before 
  • Avoid moisturiser on the day 
  • Wear clean loose underwear/clothing
  • Don’t shave or trim

What should I avoid after?- for 24-48hrs

  • No hot baths sauna or steam 
  • Avoid the gym, swimming, heavy sweating
  • Don’t apply scented products or fake tans 
  • Avoid sexual activity to allow pores to close and to prevent irritation (if you do please clean the area after and apply an antibacterial cream) 
How often should I book a wax? – Most of my clients book every 6-8 weeks some less some more. Regular waxing weakens the hair follicles resulting in finer slower growth over time
